The (DIS)Order of the Hidden Light and Illuminated Darkness

        The D:.O:.I:., or the DisOrder of the Hidden Light (also trans. as the DisOrder of Illuminated Darkness, by the Universal Principle of polarisation and opposites) is a magical order dedicated to the promulgation and advancement of magical knowledge.   There is no light without darkness, a truism oft-stated, yet the true meaning of the name of our order is due to the fact that in that which is Illuminated there remains no work to be done. Only in the Dark may the influence of the Light be felt, and it is from the integration and assimilation of the dark that we find the power that is the Whole, the Totality of Being.   A Chaos Magic Order by nature, all paradigms and methods are recognised as equally valid in the pursuit of the Great Work.  We are the NewBreed, the next generation of Kaos Magicians, although our Order is as old as Time itself.  We go, and have gone, under a variety of names, realising that names have power yet mean nothing.  The D:.O:.I:. has however finally decided that we can only do so much under the veil of secrecy behind which we have carried out our work till this juncture.  Recognising the power of the Internet to illuminate and teach whilst retaining the anonymity and secrecy the nature of our manipulations require, we make available some of our wisdom and dark light.
